Dr. Kapust has taken the “extra-step” to achieve his board certifications in Orthodontics (www.americanboardortho.com), and Pediatric Dentistry (www.abpd.org). This voluntary certification process means that Dr. Kapust passed a comprehensive written examination covering all aspects of orthodontics and pediatric dentistry as well as completing an oral examination to assess his treatment planning abilities, thought processes, and knowledge of past and present research in orthodontics and pediatric dentistry. Few dentists have achieved board certification in their specialties and Dr. Kapust is one of only two dentists in Washington who achieved board certification in both orthodontics and pediatric dentistry. Involvement in the certification process is a demonstration of Dr. Kapust’s pursuit of continued proficiency and excellence along with his love for working with children and teenagers.

Highly Skilled and Experienced

Dr. Kapust has treated well over 2,500 orthodontic cases and has accumulated in excess of 500 continuing education hours. There is no substitution for the knowledge and judgement gained by this combination of number of treated patients and amount of continuing education courses and seminars.
