Watch Christian Go To The Dentist
Your child will receive a comprehensive examination which is not limited to just the teeth. We will examine the gums, cheeks, lips and tongue as well as provide an oral cancer screening. An orthodontic evaluation will also be completed which will assess the growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
Dental radiographs are used to evaluate for dental decay between the teeth, infections of the jaws, missing or extra teeth, and other abnormalities that cannot be detected upon visual examination.
Following the examination, Dr. Andy will discuss an individualized treatment plan for your child. A long range estimate of your child’s facial growth and development will also be reviewed to determine the need for future orthodontic care.
