Dr. Kapust is a board certified orthodontist. This voluntary certification process means that Dr. Kapust passed a comprehensive written examination covering all aspects of orthodontics as well as completing an oral examination to assess his treatment planning abilities, thought processes, and knowledge of past and present research in orthodontics and pediatric dentistry. Few dentists have achieved board certification in their specialties and Dr. Kapust is one of only two dentists in Washington who achieved board certification in both orthodontics and pediatric dentistry. Involvement in the certification process is a demonstration of Dr. Kapust’s pursuit of continued proficiency and excellence along with his love for working with children and teenagers.
Nice smiles get noticed
Your smile is your greeting to the world. It’s also a window to an important part of your dental health — the alignment of your teeth. Not everyone is born with beautiful teeth. Crooked teeth or spaces between the teeth may be a source of embarrassment or self-consciousness. Improperly aligned teeth and jaws called a “malocclusion” also can lead to tooth decay and a host of sometimes painful dental disorders. The good news is that orthodontic treatment can correct malocclusion and help you achieve a healthy, beautiful smile that’s good for life.
